
LAURANNE DUFFAUT
Lauranne Duffaut is a Belgian-francophone international lawyer. She joins us from assisting disaster relief efforts as a Legal Officer at the African Risk Capacity Secretariat in South Africa. Lauranne began building the breadth of her International legal experience by interning for the United Nations in New York and Armenia and for the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Following her time at the ICC, Lauranne worked as an international criminal lawyer with the Office of the Co-Prosecutors at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal (ECCC) in Cambodia before joining the Appeals Chamber of the Yugoslav Tribunal (ICTY) in The Hague.

Lauranne obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree in Belgium and a Masters of International Public Law in the Netherlands. She recently completed the LLM program at Penn Law where she was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law and worked pro bono for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
