LAURANNE DUFFAUT
Ms Lauranne Duffaut is a Belgian-francophone international lawyer, currently working as a Legal Adviser for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). In her new role with the mission in Haiti, she will be leading negotiation efforts and providing legal support to the teams in their legal set-up in the country. In her past year and a half with the organization, she provided help to the Sahel region from the HQ office in Dakar, Senegal, as well as field support to the Nigeria mission. Before that, she served the United Nations and international tribunals, in The Hague (Netherlands) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia). She received her bachelor's degree in law from Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL), Belgium; a master's degree in public international law from the University of Amsterdam (UVA), the Netherlands; and holds another master's degree in American law, from the Pennsylvania Law School
